Motorola Edge 70 India Launch on December 15: Slim Design, 1.5K AMOLED Screen, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4

Motorola has officially announced that its upcoming Edge-series flagship, the Motorola Edge 70, will launch in India on December 15, shortly after its global debut last month. The smartphone packs a vibrant 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive 4500 nits peak brightness, ensuring exceptional clarity and smoothness. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, paired with VC cooling to maintain performance during heavy use.

One of the highlights of the device is its ultra-slim and lightweight design—measuring just 5.99mm in thickness and weighing 159 grams, making it one of the sleekest phones in its segment.

For photography, the Edge 70 features a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP front-facing camera for detailed selfies and video calls. Keeping everything running is a 5000mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 68W TurboPower fast charging and 15W wireless charging.

The phone will be offered in three stylish PANTONE-validated colours: Lily Pad, Gadget Grey, and Bronze Green. It also sports a durable metal frame and comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering strong protection against dust and water. Motorola further claims military-grade durability for added reassurance.

Out of the box, the Motorola Edge 70 will run Android 16, with Motorola promising three major Android OS updates and four years of security patches.

Once launched, the device will be available for purchase via Flipkart, Motorola’s official website, and offline retail stores across India.
