OPPO has expanded its tablet lineup in India with the launch of the OPPO Pad 5, introduced alongside the Reno15 series last week. Notably, the Indian variant differs from the model released in China, bringing a larger 12.1-inch display, upgraded chipset, and 5G connectivity options.

The OPPO Pad 5 features a 12.1-inch 2.8K LCD panel with a 7:5 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, and an anti-glare matte finish, aimed at reducing reflections and enhancing usability under bright lighting. The screen supports Dolby Vision and reaches up to 900 nits HBM brightness, making it suitable for both entertainment and productivity.

Under the hood, the tablet runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra SoC, paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It boots ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, with new AI-assisted note-taking tools to boost productivity and ease multitasking.
