Xiaomi has officially announced that the REDMI Note 15 5G will be launched in India on January 6, 2026. The upcoming smartphone is positioned as a mid-range 5G device and will introduce several meaningful upgrades across camera capabilities, performance, display quality, and overall durability.

One of the biggest highlights of the Indian variant is its enhanced camera setup. Unlike the China-exclusive version that features a 50MP sensor, the Indian model will sport a 108MP primary rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The camera will also support 4K video recording, making it a strong contender for photography and videography enthusiasts in the mid-range segment.

Powering the REDMI Note 15 5G is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. Xiaomi claims that this chipset offers up to 30% better CPU performance and a 10% improvement in GPU output compared to the previous generation, ensuring smoother multitasking and improved gaming performance.

On the front, the smartphone will feature a 6.77-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive peak brightness of up to 3,200 nits. The screen is also certified with TÜV Triple Eye Care, designed to reduce eye strain during prolonged usage.
