Lava has expanded its Bold smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Bold N4 Pro 5G. The new handset brings 5G connectivity and a large 6000mAh battery to the budget segment, following the debut of the Bold N4 Lite in August.
The Bold N4 Pro 5G carries a special introductory price of Rs 13,999. It comes in a single configuration with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Sales will begin on September 26 at 12:00 PM IST through Amazon India. The phone is offered in two colour options: Monaco Blue and Opulent Lilac.
Lava is also including its signature Free Service at Home policy for after-sales support with the handset.
Display and Design
The Bold N4 Pro 5G features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD screen with a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach up to 550 nits of peak brightness.
The screen has a waterdrop notch at the top to house the front-facing camera. The phone carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
The device has a flat-edge design and a squarish rear camera module. It measures 168.29 x 77.64 x 8.68mm and weighs 207 grams.
Performance and Software
Powering the Bold N4 Pro 5G is an octa-core Unisoc T8200 5G chipset built on a 6nm process. The processor runs at clock speeds up to 2.3GHz and is paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
The phone ships with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.
Lava has equipped the device with 6GB of virtual RAM support, allowing users to extend the available memory for multitasking.
The Bold N4 Pro 5G runs Android 16 out of the box. Lava is promising a clean software experience free of third-party bloatware and intrusive advertisements.
Camera and Battery
For photography, the phone carries a 50MP AI dual rear camera setup with an LED flash. The secondary sensor works alongside the primary camera to assist with depth and AI-driven features.
The rear camera supports 2K video recording. On the front, there is an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls.
A 6000mAh battery powers the device, which Lava says is designed for extended multi-day usage. The phone supports 18W charging through a USB Type-C port.
Connectivity and Other Features
The Bold N4 Pro 5G supports 5G SA and NSA networks. Other connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS with GLONASS support.
The phone has a hybrid dual-SIM tray that accepts either two nano-SIM cards or one nano-SIM and a microSD card.
A side-mounted fingerprint scanner handles biometric authentication. The device also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and a bottom-firing speaker.
Availability
The Lava Bold N4 Pro 5G will be available exclusively through Amazon India starting September 26 at 12:00 PM IST.
The special launch price of Rs 13,999 applies to the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. Lava has not announced a standard retail price for the device after the introductory period ends.
