Realme is gearing up to introduce the Realme 16 Pro 5G in India, and the company has already revealed most of the phone’s key specifications through official teasers. With nearly all details now out in the open, the upcoming smartphone leaves little room for surprises. One of its biggest highlights is a massive 7,000mAh battery, paired with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Max 5G processor.
Realme 16 Pro 5G: What to Expect
The Realme 16 Pro 5G will feature a 1.5K AMOLED display offering a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. The screen is said to deliver up to 6,500 nits of peak brightness, support 1.07 billion colours, and include advanced eye-comfort features for prolonged usage.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Max 5G chipset, which Realme claims can score over 970,000 points on AnTuTu benchmarks. To maintain consistent performance during heavy use, the phone is equipped with an AirFlow VC cooling system. On the software side, it will run Realme UI 7.0 powered by the company’s Flux Engine.
In the camera department, the Realme 16 Pro 5G sports a 200-megapixel LumaColor camera system, similar to the one found on the higher-end Realme 16 Pro+ 5G. The phone also introduces a new Vibe Master Mode, which offers 21 custom portrait colour tones. Video recording capabilities include support for 4K HDR footage.
Fueling the smartphone is a large 7,000mAh battery, which is expected to deliver long-lasting usage on a single charge.
Launch Details and Other Devices
Alongside the Realme 16 Pro 5G, the company will also unveil the more premium Realme 16 Pro+ 5G. Realme is also set to launch the Realme Buds Air 8 and the Realme Pad 3 during the same event.

The official launch is scheduled for January 6 at 12 PM IST. While pricing for the Realme 16 Pro 5G is yet to be announced, the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is rumored to carry an MRP of ₹43,999. However, early offers and discounts could bring down the effective price for buyers.
