  1. Visit the NSDL or UTIITSL website.
  2. Click on the “Changes/Correction in PAN” option.
  3. Enter essential details like your PAN number, name, date of birth, and email ID.
  4. Once submitted, a 15-digit token number will be generated—keep it safe.
  5. Select the fields you want to update and make the required corrections.
  6. Upload supporting documents, including identity proof, address proof, date of birth proof, and a recent photograph.
  7. Pay the applicable processing fee and submit the application.
  8. Download the acknowledgement slip, which is needed later to check the status of your PAN update.

How to Update Your Name on Aadhaar

Updating your Aadhaar details is equally simple through the UIDAI website. Follow these steps:

  6. Pay the ₹50 non-refundable fee for the name update request.

After submitting the request, make sure to note down the Service Request Number (SRN). This number allows you to track your Aadhaar update status until the changes reflect on your card.
