Amazon has announced its upcoming “Great Summer Sale” powered by Samsung Galaxy. This seasonally themed shopping event will include all product categories including but limited to; Electronics, Smartphones, Fashion and Home Essentials.
Financial Incentives and Promotional Opportunities
The annual “Great Summer Sale” historically offered significant discounts on a variety of products. Similar to prior years’ offerings this year’s event will offer numerous financial incentives, unique benefits and other promotions to help customers save money:
Prime Member Benefits: Exclusive benefits to Amazon Prime Members will be available to members who have an active membership. A 3% discount off of over 200,000 items will be exclusively available to Prime members.
Bank Offerings: For purchases made using HDFC Bank Credit Cards or EASYEMI there will be a 10% instant discount available.
No Cost EMI Options: Starting at a daily interest rate ending in ₹9 No Cost EMI Options will be available throughout the sale.
Additional Savings: Further savings opportunities are available to shoppers referred to as “Great Prices” through various means including a special product exchange program and the use of Digital Coupons.

Interactive Features: To create even more excitement around the sale Amazon has created an interactive game called the “PromoCode Hunt”. Customers may participate in this activity by answering trivia questions related to Amazon products, and for each question answered correctly the customer will receive a new promo code worth up to 20% off their purchase.
Shopper Tools
In order to assist customers with navigating the large number of products available during the “Great Summer Sale”, Amazon has included a few tools and technologies to make it easier for customers to find what they are looking for:
Rufus: Rufus is a shopping assistant developed using artificial intelligence (AI). Customers may ask Rufus questions about products such as “What are some of the best summer essentials?” or “What are some of the top deals under ₹2,000?”. In addition, Rufus can provide customers with a price history of any item purchased through Amazon. By selecting the “price history” button on the product page or by simply asking Rufus, customers will see how much an item cost in comparison to today’s prices. This will allow them to determine if they truly receiving a discount.
View in Your Room: This is an Augmented Reality (AR) tool that will allow customers to view products in their own homes before making a purchase.
What to expect
