Oppo Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s Launching in India on May 21 With 200MP Cameras

Oppo is getting ready to expand its premium smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s on May 21. The company had already introduced both devices globally earlier this year, and now Indian users are finally set to get their hands on the latest flagship models.

The upcoming Find X9 series focuses heavily on flagship-grade cameras, top-end performance, and stylish designs aimed at premium smartphone buyers.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra and X9s: What to Expect

The Oppo Find X9 Ultra will arrive as the brand’s most advanced flagship smartphone, while the Find X9s is designed for users looking for a compact premium device without compromising on performance.

Both smartphones feature Hasselblad-tuned camera systems and ship with Android 16-based ColorOS 16 out of the box. Oppo is also introducing fresh color options for Indian buyers. The Find X9 Ultra will come in a classic black finish, whereas the Find X9s will be offered in Lavender Sky, Midnight Grey, and Sunset Orange shades.

Under the hood, the Find X9 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset built on a 3nm architecture. The device also packs a large 7,050mAh battery, making it one of the biggest batteries seen in the flagship segment.

Meanwhile, the Oppo Find X9s runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor and includes a slightly smaller 7,025mAh battery.

Both phones are expected to deliver flagship-level performance for gaming, multitasking, and AI-powered features.

Camera Features Take Center Stage

Camera performance appears to be one of the biggest highlights of the new Find X9 lineup.

The Oppo Find X9 Ultra features a quad rear camera setup led by a massive 200-megapixel primary sensor. It also includes a 200MP telephoto lens and a 50MP periscope camera capable of delivering up to 10x optical zoom.

On the other hand, the Find X9s comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel main sensor.

Globally, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra debuted at a starting price of around Rs. 1,03,000, while the Find X9s launched at approximately Rs. 85,000. Indian pricing is expected to remain close to these figures, although official details will be announced during the launch event.
